CDC gaslights us on masking; scores of studies prove they don’t work and cause harm
A study of 90,000 Georgia students, teachers and staff is admittedly flawed, but it drives the guidelines that tell health depts. and schools around the country how they should operate.
The CDC is gaslighting everyone about the need for preschool children and students to wear masks in schools (or anywhere). The headline in this “study” may have you believe that masking everyone lowers the risk of Covid-19 cases by 37%. But read it carefully…in the “What is added by this report” section, it clearly says “incidence was lowered by 37% in schools that require teachers and staff members to use masks.” It doesn’t mention students. Buried deep in the second paragraph in the Discussion section of the Georgia study, upon which the CDC established its guidelines, the truth comes out: “not statistically significant,” and “data from this cross-sectional study cannot be used to infer causal relationships.” In other words, this study is flawed. Not every school reported their findings and those who did provided inconsistent, self-reported information, not scientific metrics.
Industrial Hygienist Tyson Gabriel reveals mistakes in the mask science used by the CDC to suggest implementing universal masking in this hour-long video.
In Australia, researchers said the study used by the authoritarian government to base its mask mandate there was “crap,” according to this article. People are being arrested for not wearing them.
On the contrary, this meta analysis of dozens of mask studies shows that masks actually do more harm than good. https://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/18/8/4344/htm
Earlier this year, under the Freedom of Information Act, emails from Dr. Anthony Fauci were produced that revealed his stance on masks. He has changed his mind frequently, citing “science,” but never mentions the study from which his science is derived. He does this purposely to close down the possibility of debate.
This graphic explains how “pseudoscience” is manufactured. Often, as in many studies used to smear hydroxychloroquine, they gave patients mega doses or gave it to them late in the infection. The studies were set up to fail. It’s the same with masks, only they’re set up to succeed.
If you want links to real science, as opposed to pseudoscience, several peer-reviewed mask studies can be found here. Their conclusion:
”A long-term analysis shows that infections have been driven primarily by seasonal and endemic factors, whereas mask mandates and lockdowns have had no discernible impact.”
This website also points out the flaws of studies that conclude mask wearing stops Covid-19 and includes information about the risks of wearing masks. Of course this website has been smeared by media as being “fake news,” but that’s their way of saying, “DON’T READ THIS! IT CONTAINS TOO MUCH INFORMATION WE DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT AND WE HAVE NO WAY OF CENSORING IT!”
Another scare tactic the CDC likes to use is the word “cases.” This study included 90,000 plus students, broken down into groups of 500. About three cases were reported for both masked and mask-optional classes in each of the groups. That’s roughly 540 cases or 0.6% of the 90,000 students included in this study. But how many deaths occurred from the 180 groups of 500? The CDC conveniently leaves that information out of the mix. If we are to believe the CDC’s own statistics that .003% percent of children ages 0-19 die from Covid, there were no deaths. Here’s the math: .003% of 540 cases = .0162 deaths.
A July 2021 preprint study by Dr. John Ioannidis, a Professor of Medicine, Epidemiology and Population Health, and Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University, who was labeled "one of the most influential scientists alive" by The Atlantic and is one of the top cited scientists in the world averaging >6,000 new citations per month, augments the CDC’s statistics. He argued that lockdowns cause more deaths and do not save lives. He did a meta-analysis of several countries and found the following:
Age Infection Survival Rate
0-19 99.9973%
20-29 99.986%
30-39 99.969%
40-49 99.918%
50-59 99.73%
60-69 99.41%
70+ 97.6% (non-institutionalized)
70+ 94.5% (all)
A video showing Dr. Ioannidis explaining the study can be found here.
The good news is that school districts have and are installing air purification systems. The systems not only kill viruses and bacteria hanging out in the air, but also on surfaces. I applaud our local school boards for allowing students to wear masks if they want and for proactively mitigating airborne pathogens with the use of filtration systems. Their actions are supported by science.

The rulemaking record for the Respiratory Protection Standard clearly justifies adopting the requirement that air breathed by employees must have an oxygen content of at least 19.5 percent. A lesser concentration of oxygen in employees’ breathing air could endanger them physiologically and diminish their ability to cope with other hazards that may be present in the workplace. The rulemaking record also demonstrates that any workplace atmosphere controlled at or near your recommended minimal oxygen level of 100 mm of mercury at sea level (equivalent to about 13 percent oxygen at sea level) is not safe and healthful for all employees. Exposing employees to partial pressures of oxygen that approach 100 mm of mercury at sea level leaves them with no margin of safety from potentially debilitating effects, which could appear suddenly and without warning.https://www.osha.gov/laws-regs/standardinterpretations/2007-04-02-0#:~:text=The%20rulemaking%20record%20for%20the,of%20at%20least%2019.5%20percent.

Does Mask Wearing Stop the Spread of COVID-19? No.
CDC Study shows 70% of NEW coronavirus cases ALWAYS WORE A MASK, while only 3.9% NEVER wore a mask.

Thus, masks should not be mandated / required for the general public to wear:
